This talented chef hasn’t always worked for the Villa del Palmar, though; Chef Garcia’s first role in a kitchen came in his home town of Mexico City, where Mexican cuisine is king and the culinary scene is first class. Garcia first put his talents and friendly personality to use in the kitchen of Casa de Campo, a boutique hotel and restaurant on the outskirts of the city, and sue to his promise was given the opportunity to assist some culinary giants at international events. These names include Olivier Lombart, Thierry Doufort and Vicente Etchegaray.

After some time in Mexico City, gaining knowledge and experience, Chef Garcia moved to Baja California Sur where he hoped to discover new techniques and tricks of the trade as well as his dream job. He perfected his own style, skills and presentation in roles such as that of Kitchen Manager, Kitchen supervisor, Banquet Chef and Executive Chef. These are skills and techniques that certainly do the Villa del Palmar Loreto resort proud, but they are not the main reason why the company is so proud to have Garcia on staff. Rather, it is his passion, care and high standards of service and presentation that make Chef Garcia such a wonderful addition to the Villa del Palmar family.
