Though the digital dome, complete with 5th generation technology, is somewhat the star of the show there are also eco-tourism workshops, and an on-site water museum to enjoy. The need for environmental work and the preservation of local archaeological sites, such as the Mayan ruins found across the area, features in the displays and shows at the venue. Ka’Yok’ Planetarium may look heavenward as a matter of course, but it can teach you plenty about the more tangible world around you too
